Course Description: Podcasting introduces students to the craft of factual and fact-based audio storytelling. Students will explore a variety of audio podcasts and then conceive, produce, distribute and promote their multi-episode audio podcasts. This course is designed for students who can record and edit audio files with multiple tracks. Students should be comfortable editing audio files using Audacity or another program with advanced editing functions. Although the course will review some aspects of the technical production of audio files and the instructor is available for consultation, students are expected to come to the course with basic audio production skills.
