Course description:  This course continues the development of language skills through such activities as discussions, group work, writing summaries, argumentative essays, reading of essays, short stories, novels or non-fiction books, textbook chapters, and academic and popular articles. Particular emphasis is placed on Ruhani Zhangyru. The focus is on developing as writers and using ideas and information from reading and listening to create and support arguments, as evidenced through different kinds of argumentative writing. By the end of the course, students who have made adequate progress in English demonstrate competence at CEF B2 mid level. The course covers minimum of 225 contact hours and 150 hours for independent learning.
