This course is designed for Business English learners who are the staff of the same international company and who are of different ages and mother tongues, but their English proficiency is around Intermediate level.

The course is built basing on constructivist theory. Also, as a teacher I belief that students learn best in practice, so the course focuses more on production skills. The aim is to make it cooperative and communicative with an emphasis on business/professional context.

The company provides sufficient equipment for learning. Thus, hard technology such as smart board and PC, and soft technology will be integrated as well in the form of such platforms as zoom (since the staff often goes to business trips), email (to practice written business communication), google docs (to compose some docs together on a distance mode), YouTube and other (to provide authentic input) etc.

The course is structured by topics of the types of business communication items (e.g. writing an email, memo etc., participating in meetings, etc) indicating the dates for learners' convenience in time management.
