The defense of the thesis shall be open to all public The Associate Dean of the Graduate Programs shall announce publicly (to include the KIMEP web site) the dates for the oral defense of all completed theses by students in the program that are being defended in the current semester. The public announcement shall include the name of the student, degree program, title of the thesis, and the date, time, and place of the oral defense.

The Presentation of the thesis should be for about 15 – 20 minutes and Q&A should be limited to approximately another 20 – 25 minutes.  The student must introduce him/her and Thesis Committee members, present the research objective (problem statement), a brief literature review, methodology, analysis, and findings, summary, conclusions, implications recommendations, the significance of the research and limitations.
