The workshop is designed to help KIMEP faculty establish or improve their own online
or blended teaching practices. It focuses on many different approaches from delivering
online classes to facilitating discussions and collaboration between students, as well as
ways to encourage and support them in self-guided learning.
The goal of this self-paced Professional Development program, which will lead to a
remote learning certificate from KIMEP University, is to help faculty expand knowledge
and skills to improve online teaching and learning and to apply these skills to future
courses for AY 2020-2021. This will foster communication and maximize student
engagement.
